Allan Ward from Slow Fortune

Hi, I’m

Allan Ward

I’m on a mission to help Gen X take back control of their finances.

I’m not interested in overnight riches or investments that promise to double your money but then fail spectacularly.

Getting ahead the Slow Fortune way involves patience and commitment.

Have a look around and find out more.

I’m different from a lot of the other “experts” out there

I’ve worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and for a lot of that time I worked as a financial planner here in Australia.

I’ve met with hundreds of people who needed help with their finances and I’ve come to the conclusion that there are a number of basic steps anyone can take to get in control of their money.

At Slow Fortune we talk about how you can stay on top of your finances and get on the path to getting rich slowly.

What makes me different is that this isn’t based on just my money journey, but it includes all the things I’ve learnt from my clients since 1996 when I first started working as a financial planner.

There are many ‘money experts’ out there who invite you to follow their financial journey. There’s nothing wrong with that, but be aware that you’re getting one person’s perspective based on their experience and values.

Your financial position is different from the next person’s so it’s important to get as much information as you can and work through what fits for your financial journey.

That’s where we come in – we’ve seen people make lots of financial decisions – some good, some bad.

And we realise that sometimes when you’re making a poor financial decision, there’s no obvious pain telling you to stop. So you carry on, oblivious to the fact that there could be a better way.

So please, come and join us on the Slow Fortune journey where life is a marathon, not a sprint and we recognise that money is a means to an end.
